We have a predicted haplogroup of "G", not one of the commonest around.

Preliminary results are now available for our one and only participant to date.
Only 12 markers are published as yet, but matches within the Family Tree DNA tested world show a 12/12 match with a HAMILTON, family tree as yet unknown, beyond his being a John HAMILTON born in Ireland, and dying in Sth Carolina, timeframes not stated.

Welcome to the FAMILTON Surname DNA Project.
Several of us are interested in seing whether or not the very few lines of FAMILTONs that we know about, all traced back to a very small part of the UK, are genetically related.
